HISTORY OF RM BATIK
Ramli Malek is a founder of Batik RM who was
born on 1943 in Kuantan. He is a Batik designer and entrepreneur. He undertake
five years course in Fabric Design by Mara to Bradford College of Art, UK. He
represents as an assistant textile teacher at Mara Handicrafts Centre at Kuala
Terengganu. This company has been operated since 1972. The last Ramli Malek was
the one of the cultural personalities who contributed towards the advancement
in designing and making Pahang Batik.

- Two one –man shows of oil paintings at Changi Air Base in Singapore.
- Commissioned on 1962 by the Raja Muda of Johor to paint nine works depicting the nine districts of Johor which now located at Istana Johor.
- He contributed in Manchester, Hull and Midlands Young Contemporary Artists Exhibition.
